There was a bite in the air Saturday night, but it only seemed to lift the spirits of the throngs who lined Caroline Street for the annual Christmas Parade in downtown Fredericksburg. Of course, Santa was the highlight. But before his sleigh rolled into town, area bands, local businesses, and civic groups brought cheers from the crowd. And then there were the dogs, who warmed hearts and delivered joy.

I didn't make it to the parade. Thank you so much for your pictures and especially the video of the bands (always my favorite part of the parade).
