In 2021 the Stafford Board of Supervisors a document as part of the Comprehensive Plan. It suggests that the Capital Cost School Impact per single family home is $45,762 per house. This is the prime reason why Stafford County is going into debt and can't fund the needed infrastructure to mitigate the residential growth rate. Fiscally we must slow the residential growth rate to a sustainable level. We also need to find ways for residential developers to share more in the costs, so it's not all put on the taxpayers back.

The school costs have increased about 30% since the document was approved.

Here's a link to my FB page post that has the document.
