The Advance is gearing up for the second annual Canal Quarter Cat Tour - and now is the time to let us know if you want your cat to be showcased!
Last year, some six fabulous felines residing in this part of town were featured and we’d love to add some new faces this year. We’ll prepare a poster that you can display in your front yard, and all you need to do is (try) to make sure your cat is visible from the front of your house on tour day.
The date is Saturday, October 11, and the tour will start from Old Mill Park at 10:30 a.m. and end at Canal Quarter Arts.
In addition to SEEING CATS, tour-goers will also get to hear some of the history and learn about some of the architectural details of Canal Quarter and surrounding neighborhoods.
The event will raise funds for local animal rescues.
If you want your cat to be featured or have any questions, send us an email!

First to explain falling water levels in the Rappahannock Canal.
First to detail controversial traffic numbers submitted by Stafford staff on the Buc-ee’s project
