"I, like many others, have no idea what we are trying to accomplish in Iran."

But don't be disappointed; Donnie will espouse his ignorance for the entire readership to enjoy, just so that he can insult and attempt to belittle the President of the United States. Such a patriot!

An autocratic, catastrophe led administration by Trump does not require monsters; it arises when psychologically ordinary but ambitious careerists and bureaucrats operate in a system that rewards obedience and punishes refusal, where people are pushed to stop thinking for themselves and simply “do their job,” and where social and professional pressures make standing out in dissent feel more dangerous than going along with harm.

Let’s call this presidency what it is: CHAOS – Corruption, Hubris, Anti‑democratic, Out‑of‑control, Shameless.

• Corruption – Public power blurred into private gain, special treatment for insiders, and open contempt for basic ethics.

• Hubris – A president who won’t listen, won’t learn, and won’t admit error, governing by ego instead of evidence.

• Anti‑democratic – Constant attacks on elections, the courts, a free press, and any institution that dares to provide a check.

• Out‑of‑control – Policy by impulse and grievance, lurching from one self‑inflicted crisis to another and leaving communities to pick up the pieces.

• Shameless – No lie too big, no norm too important, no behavior too low if it feeds attention and personal power.

Trump is not a strategic mastermind; most days he seems accidental, driven by impulse rather than thought. But the damage from this CHAOS presidency is painfully deliberate in its impact—on our institutions, on Virginians’ daily lives, and on the local work we do to protect democracy.

You nailed it, Donnie. Thanks for speaking out and calling BS.
