Shakespeare topics - glorified teen suicide (Romeo and Juliet)

assassinations and madness - King Lear

witchcraft - - Macbeth

approved spousal abuse and torture - Taming of the Shrew (McClintock for John Wayne fans)

animal worship (feast of Lupercal), assassination - Julius Caesar,

polyamory (Antony and Cleopatra),

sorcery (The Tempest)

racism, domestic murder - Othello
