Thank you. As a longtime employee (retired) of Spotsylvana County Public Schools I was familiar with Renee Daniels. She was present at most public school board meetings and at other school district events, meaning she was a part of the community. Taxpayers who are paying the salary of Ms. Mergener should be aware of her salary and whether she is actually a physical presence in our school division. I personally will have grave concern if the communication director has been employed at a salary higher than that of any teacher but will not be present at meetings and other division events.
