Donnie, if the Reflecting Pool mess isn't due to vandalism, then doesn't it point to a poor contractor who lacks competence? As everyone who has dealt with contractors, government agencies or even store employees over the last decade, finding someone who is competent and professional is like finding a rare gem. I don't think you need a reminder about the loss of a work ethic, especially among younger people for whom "time off" and "self-care" is paramount.
