The Spotsylvania School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The agenda includes recognition of the two Teachers of the Year, a report on vacancies, and a closed session to discuss personnel matters.

Recognition of Virginia Business Educator Association’s CTE Teacher of the Year: Edie Brooks, Business and Information Technology instructor at Post Oak Middle School.
Recognition of Virginia Technology Engineering Education Association’s Teacher of the Year: Christine Culberson, Technology and Engineering instructor at Battlefield Middle School.

Consent Agenda
There are 11 items on the consent agenda, including approval of minutes, donations, two budget amendments, a contract for the Marshall Center renovation project, and five new full-time positions—one instructional support specialist position and four paraprofessional positions.
There are no action items or new/unfinished business items on the agenda. The board is scheduled to go into closed session at 7 p.m. to discuss personnel matters.
