Continued discussion of proposed program of studies for the 2026-27 school year. (FXBG Advance story from October 15 about proposed new specialty centers.)
Continued discussion of proposed large capital and 3R—repair, replacement, and rehabilitate—projects. The top three projects on the draft capital improvement priority list are replacement of the Rising Star early childhood education complex, elementary school #20 (at the proffered site in the Embrey Mill neighborhood), and a joint county/schools fleet services facility.
Discussion of potential agreement with Dogwood Airpark Homeowner’s Association.
