The NW section of Stafford currently has 9 elementary schools within 4.6 miles of each other and some people want to build a 10th ES within that cluster of schools.

If that was the case 10 out of 19 elementary schools would be within a 21 sq. mile area. That would leave the other 9 elementary schools servicing 3/4 of the County, which is a 210 sq. mile area.

If an elementary school is built at EM there would be 5 ES's within two miles of each other and 7 ES's within 4 miles of each other. In the mean time some kids have an 8 to 10 mile bus ride.

If the schools are placed accordingly the traffic will be reduced.
