The key is finding a slum somewhere in Northern Virginia Youngkin can claim to revitalize. The problem is, there are none. Alexandria, for example, is quickly replacing subsidized housing with million-dollar townhouses while requiring builders to erect a few subsidized homes in between.

Ah, such a problem to have.

I think more people oppose giving $10,000 grants to students with college loans than hundreds of millions to billionaires. At least the students will generate their share of tax revenue in the future. There are a hell of a lot more of them than billionaires. Something politicians should think about.

My taxpayer dollars go to a stadium in Fredericksburg that I am opposed to. I certainly don't want to shell out more money for someone's hobby with state taxes. Could we find some money for the arts? maybe some balance?
