Local school divisions have announced delayed openings on Thursday, January 23, due to forecasted low overnight temperatures.
Fredericksburg
FCPS will be operating on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, January 23, due to potentially dangerous temperatures in the morning. This applies to all students and staff.
Spotsylvania
Due to the extremely low temperatures forecasted for tonight, Spotsylvania County Public Schools will open two hours late on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Twelve-month employees and essential employees report to work on time as safety permits. All other employees report two hours late.
Stafford
Stafford Schools will operate on a 2 Hour Delay Thursday, January 23.
Caroline
CCPS will operate on a two-hour delay Thursday, January 23. Essential employees on time.
King George
As our region continues to experience cold and inclement weather, King George County Schools will open on a two-hour delay Thursday, January 23.
