One may also indulge in Mr. Huber's MAGAphobia on the pages of one of FXBG Advance's competitors "Free Lance-Star." Mr. Huber's mellifluous paeans to the Democratic "Socialists" also appear there. He states on FL-S, "more than three-quarters expect political violence to increase in the next five years." With Tyler Robinson on trial, too many (known) attempts on the sitting president's life to count, a pharma CEO assassin moldering in a cell... and countless property and violent crimes being excused by Leftist courts as "Social Justice" it cannot be disputed that Mr. Huber's side of the aisle has been fomenting violence. D.C. used to be Kharjackistan til it was cleaned up by the Natl. Gd. Even a young Leftist lady I know said the Metro and D.C. streets are far safer. One of Mr. Huber's Big Deals is housing costs. Shall we assume that the Biden Admin's 15 M unvetted hordes entering our nation alleviated housing costs, especially for those on the lower socioeconomic rungs? Mr. Huber's Free Stuff for the masses has a sweet ring to it for the self-indulgent, instant-gratification set who can't pay their bills because they are too lazy, too stoned, have a degree in Marxist Relevancy to Ontology or are, a journalist. (Or all of the above.) "Aim" says Mr. Huber, "OK" replies Mr. Robinson.
I think the strategy is a good way to pull oneself out of the TDS and gives good direction to step away from emotion and focus on facts. RESEARCH on all issues is the only way to get to the core of what is going on and should help focus on what YOU want to effect instead of blindingly accepting whatever you are told. It's a LOT more work than most people are willing to do, but the end result is sense and sensibility.
I wouldn’t be too worried about “Missing Links” who hide behind their anonymity while leaving self-indulgent ignorant comments that are actually irrelevant to the article upon which they are commenting. What they peddle is their own idiocy and lack of credibility.
I appreciate your column. It outlines a good strategy.
I personally think all things Trump and MAGA are damaging and difficult for anyone who believes in the principles outlined in our Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights.
These are trying times but perhaps even more trying for the frequent targets of Trump and MAGA, including any human being of color and any human being whose true nature conflicts with Trump/MAGA prejudices; but especially women, whose rights are trampled and threatened by these faux tough guys hiding behind masks and fake identities.
Bullies are cowards. Cowards fold when confronted.
No need to get maudlin and teary. Vote for Platner and his ilk. Bernie, Fakahontas and OCD or whatever her name is said he will save you from having to get a job.
I suspect that those of our neighbors in the Trump camp who followed his summons to prove their loyalty by using their savings to buy his crypto currency for $$$ only to find it now worth just pennies must be feeling a little buyers remorse. Or maybe not. Their hero would not cheat them, would he? The NYTimes dug up his gains from crypto alone last year of $636 million or so, a substantial portion of the $2.3 billion total he raked in last year. Nice work if you can get it.
