This is exactly what local journalism does best. The mix of community stories from a stolen nativity to school weather policies shows how much ground local papers cover that national outlets just cant touch. I grew up in a town where the paper closed and the info gap is real, you stop knowing whats happening in your own backyard. Glad outlets like this are still holding it down.
