BREAKING NEWS - Four Charged; Three Arrested
Initial investigation reveals that Tuesday's shooting involved an illegal gun sale/robbery.

Early this morning, 4 subjects were charged with Malicious Wounding and Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony unlawful assembly. Two of the suspects are 16 years of age, one a 17-year-old, and another is 18 year old Jeremiah Upson. One of the 16-year-old suspects is currently at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. 2 of the suspects are Spotsylvania County residents, and two are Caroline County residents. 3 of the suspects have been incarcerated with no bond. The suspect who is currently in a local hospital will be incarcerated upon his discharge.
The 3 deceased males are as follows:
18-year-old Chase Feaster of Spotsylvania County
18-year-old Alonzo Goffney of Spotsylvania County
20-year-old whose name is being withheld pending confirmation of the Medical
Examiner’s Office.
Initial investigation reveals that this was an illegal gun sale/robbery. We commend our detectives on bringing this tragedy to a closure. We want to thank our partnership with the Fredericksburg Police Department and the Virginia State Police for their assistance during the investigation. We would certainly be remiss if we didn’t thank our community during what has been a stressful and heartbreaking several days.
