At a press briefing outside of Spotswood Baptist Church, there was little additional information provided this evening about the shooting that took the lives of three individuals and wounded three others.
Major Liz Scott with the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office said she likely will not put out any updates until Wednesday morning. “I want the investigators to at least be able to contact all the next-of-kin,” she told the Advance, “and they’re likely going to be interviewing people all night long. If the victims at the hospital, and again I don’t know their status, but if they’re released from the hospital they will also be in our custody for interviews.”
The suspects remain at-large and citizens are advised to stay inside until tomorrow morning.
